London housing project wins top architecture award
A 157-home housing development on a sloping former car park in Coulsdon, south London, has won the 2026 Stirling Prize, the UK's most prestigious architecture award. Judges praised how its design fits into the surrounding landscape and green parkland, with shared gardens and outdoor spaces linking the blocks.
