Welsh fashion figures say young designers can build successful careers in fashion from Wales without moving to London, thanks to digital tools and growing opportunities. The British Fashion Council has expanded its Fashion Britain scheme to include Wales after campaigning from industry figures.
Welsh singer Jamie Miller has become the first Welsh artist in 15 years to top the UK singles chart, with his viral hit Babydoll. The track grew after a TikTok dance trend and a boost from actress Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Miller said it was the biggest moment of his life.
