National Geographic hails 'thrilling and overlooked' part of Scotland
National Geographic has included Dumfries and Galloway on its Best of the World list for 2027, the only UK site chosen. The region was praised for its stargazing, hiking and cycling, and local tourism bodies welcomed the chance to reach new visitors.
