A previously unknown drawing by the Venetian artist Canaletto sold for £135,000 at an auction in Oxford, more than doubling its estimate. The rare capriccio had been kept in a family since the 18th century, and the sale was held by Mallams auction house.
Welsh singer Jamie Miller has become the first Welsh artist in 15 years to top the UK singles chart, with his viral hit Babydoll. The track grew after a TikTok dance trend and a boost from actress Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Miller said it was the biggest moment of his life.
