Jess Fishlock, Wales' record-breaking footballer, has been inducted into the Welsh Sports Hall of Fame as she prepares to end her career. Chris Coleman, who led Wales to the Euro 2016 semi-finals, was honoured alongside her at a gala event in Cardiff.
Cambridge University professor Patrick Barrie retained his world tiddlywinks singles title after beating Dave Lockwood of the US in a seven-hour match at a pub in Cambridge. Barrie said he was pleased with the win, while Lockwood praised his opponent and said he was glad to have given him a good challenge.
