Shropshire software developer Robin Bennett built a Roadside Litter app that uses a dashboard camera and AI to log litter roughly every 10 seconds. The app has logged over 3,000 reports in Shropshire and more than 28,000 across the UK, and he is sharing the data with the anti-litter group Clean Up Britain. Shropshire Council says it is exploring ways to improve litter management on some of the county's busiest roads.
