Busted guitarist James Bourne has said his younger brother Chris saved his life by donating a kidney, after doctors had warned he had only a few years left. Both brothers are now recovering from their transplant operations, and James says he already feels much better.

Daniel Parsonage, 29, suffered a severe stroke while preparing for a summer carnival performance in Penarlâg, Flintshire, and doctors told his family to say goodbye. After months of physiotherapy and speech therapy he can now speak in sentences and walk short distances with support, and he hopes to dance again before his 30th birthday in March.
