Fan ‘Storms Out’ as Team Loses on TV, Only to Become Hero for Woman Stuck in Mud Chest-high
A Devon man heard a woman calling for help near his home after she had been stuck in mud for hours. He went to find her, tried to reach her with rope and boards, and then fetched emergency services, who freed her after a lengthy rescue. She later thanked him in a card, saying she was grateful to see another person that day.
