Coastal Golf Course Turned into Vital Wetland Habitat for Seabirds
A golf course on England's Lincolnshire coast has been converted by the National Trust into a wetland nature reserve, and seabirds such as plovers, avocets and lapwings were already using it before it opened to the public. The site is free of pesticides and public water supply, and nesting birds have been recorded there this year.
