Yorkshire Garden Centres has raised more than £106,000 for Martin House Children's Hospice since partnering with it in April 2025. Staff and customers across its seven branches have taken part in bake sales, raffles, sporting challenges and a Pennies scheme where shoppers add 25p at the till.
Hundreds of volunteers in Birmingham packed food hampers ahead of Diwali for families struggling with the rising cost of living. The hampers were delivered to residents in homes provided by Walsall Housing Group, and similar events were held in London, Manchester and Leicester.

A bride whose father was in hospital with heart problems just before her wedding went to visit him in her wedding dress so they could share a father-daughter dance. Hospital staff helped make the visit special, and her father has since been discharged and is recovering at home.
