Angela O'Neill, a nurse who helped treat victims of the 1985 Bradford City fire, is retiring after 44 years in nursing. She is believed to be the last nurse still working at the trust who was involved in caring for those injured in the disaster.

James Ashley, a dad from Merthyr Tydfil, collapsed with a cardiac arrest in a Cwmbran shop and was revived by an off-duty police sergeant who performed CPR and used a defibrillator. Ashley has since made a full recovery and the officer, Adam Hollings, has been recognised with a Royal Humane Society certificate.
