How a stolen 1957 wedding album found its way home
A wedding album from 1957, found dumped behind a Wakefield cafe, was returned to its owner after a family history enthusiast traced the couple through old records. Amateur historian Anne-Marie Fawcett used census, marriage and electoral records, and a local history group, to find the son of the newlyweds. He was reunited with the photographs, which are some of the only images he has of his late parents.
