Thousands of people watched an illuminated carnival procession in Bridgwater, Somerset, with elaborate carts themed around rock shows, Only Fools and Horses and a circus big top. Carnival clubs spend the whole year preparing their carts, and the evening ended with 210 people taking part in squibbing.
